Just a few (much needed) words of inspiration
1. NOBODY CAN TELL YOU WHAT’S BEST FOR YOU. 2. SURROUNDING YOURSELF WITH SMART PEOPLE IS KEY. 3. DON’T JUST TALK; DO IT. (IF IT FAILS, MOVE ON.) 4. BE KIND AND GENEROUS. IT COMES BACK TO YOU. 5. YOUR ENTHUSIASM AND INTEGRITY ARE YOUR BIGGEST ASSETS. 6. IT IS POSSIBLE.

Let's Move On
This week could have (and should have) ended on Tuesday, and I would have been perfectly alright with it. From the break-up to the enormous roommate fight that took place last night, I don’t know how much more of this week I can take.
It’s weeks like this, though, that one learns to really appreciate and seek the peaceful things in his/her life. The little thing that make one happy....
I love this post that A Glamorous Little Side Project did on J. Crew’s spring catalog.
The transition from day to night is flawless (and I must get my hands on that sequin dress).
"Come What May."
I have this written on a post-it and taped to my laptop. It serves as a daily reminder that I have to just let things happen the way they happen and to take life as it comes. It’s not easy to do, but telling myself this every time I am thrown a curve ball has helped me take a deep breath, and deal with the situation at hand.
And with that being said,
I’m saying hello to the single life…again.
Here’s to hoping I will get it right this next time.
To text or not to text...
I’m in a relationship. It’s a very, very new one—not even 2 months yet. However, this is also my first relationship. Ever. And every day is proving to be very, very difficult. I don’t know what I am supposed to be doing, not supposed to be doing, when to give in, when not to… I’m so terrified of screwing it up that I’m driving myself crazy.
All I...
Goodbye Christmas break
My bags (all 4 of them) are packed, my car is loaded to the top, and I am making a playlist to ride back to school with.
The end of Christmas break is always bittersweet. I’ve been home for quite some time and part of me is more than ready to go back, get back into my routine of lots of coffee, lots of class, and lots moderate amounts of going out. I miss my roommates and boyfriend all...
This was dinner.
I ordered the ‘French Kiss’ (Garlic and Herb Jack, Gorgonzola, Onion, Sun Dried Tomato Spread on Focaccia) and a cup of Tomato Basil soup.
In one word, it was the: mostamazinggrilledcheeseperfectlygrilledstringycheesedgoodness.
Yep, that about sums it up. I will definitely be going here again.
5 Favorite Things Today
Because I am going back to school a week from today, and feeling a little bummed about it, I thought I’d do a quick “Favorite Things” post to get me in a cheerier mood.
Body by Bethenny. I’m obsessed. I got the DVD for Christmas and have found it to be the perfect workout. Not psychotic, not crazy hard, just right.
Closets with wooden hangers. I recently picked up...
