Completely rested and prepared for the week ahead....
And it feels so good.
It’s a big stack of magazines, glasses, hair in a messy bun on top of my head kind of night.

I haven’t had a weekend this bad in a long time. I swear I just cannot catch a break. It’s one thing after another.
I just hope my life would decide to slow down for a few weeks to let me recover.

I’ve been in a bit of a funk lately. I’m not sure what started it, but I hope to get out of it soon.
One thing that has been helping lately though is the amount of friendship I have around me every day. I can always count on my select few girlfriends to make me laugh, smile, understand and pick me up on a particularly rough day (or week(s) in this case…)

Snow Day
These don’t happen too many times in Texas, but when they do…watch out.
Last night was spent:
Drinking blenders full of Fuzzy Navels with my roommate (Frozen drinks in frozen weather? Why not!)

Playing in the snow, throwing “snow balls” (the snow doesn’t really stick together well here) and writing messages in the snow with some of my favorite people.
