katie-ish

just a 20-something doing the best to embrace all that life has to offer

her loves: running, coffee, the highest-heeled shoes, cupcakes, sequins, to kill a mockingbird, warm days & cold nights, the idea of love, good company, tequila, fashion, curly hair, cute boys, laughing, love, life.
these feet carried me 6 miles this morning.
to say that i am proud of how far i have come is an understatement.
just two months and five days ago, they could only take me one mile. and here i am today, running an additional five miles.
this journey, while not over yet, has been incredible.  to see and feel the changes in my body has been remarkable.  if you had told me two months and five days ago that i would soon be able to run six miles, without stopping, i would have laughed at you.
me? run six miles? you must be crazy!
but as i rolled out of bed this morning at 6:30, i felt prepared and ready.  knowing that i could kill these six miles.
and i did. and, lemme tell you, it felt AWESOME.
